Day 3: Cape Peninsula & Kirstenbosch Beauty

Day 5: Wine Indulgence, Historical Reflection & Flight to Johannesburg

- Afternoon: In the afternoon, you will take a ferry to Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the infamous prison where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were incarcerated during the apartheid era. - Late Afternoon: Following your return from Robben Island, you will be transferred directly to Cape Town International Airport (CPT) for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg (JNB).

Day 6: Soweto - A Journey Through History & Culture
- Morning: After breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on a full-day tour of Soweto (South Western Townships), a vibrant and historically significant area of Johannesburg.
- Full Day: Your tour will include visits to key historical sites such as the Hector Pieterson Museum, which commemorates the Soweto Uprising, and Vilakazi Street, the only street in the world to have housed two Nobel Peace Prize laureates: Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu.2 You will also visit Nelson Mandela's former residence, which is now a museum.
- Lunch: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Soweto, experiencing authentic South African cuisine.
- Afternoon: Immerse yourself in the local culture, interact with residents, and gain a deeper understanding of Soweto's past and present. You might have the opportunity to visit a local market or community project.

- Afternoon: Upon arrival at Tremisana Lodge, you will check in and have some time to settle into your accommodation.
- Late Afternoon: Your Kruger experience begins with an exciting late afternoon/early evening game drive in an open safari vehicle. This is a prime time to spot wildlife as they become more active as the day cools down.

Day 8: Balule Game Reserve - Bush Walks & Game Drives

An experienced and armed safari guide will lead you, providing insights into the smaller details of the bushveld, tracking animals, and ensuring your safety. Day 9: Kruger National Park - Full Day Safari Adventure

- Full Day: You will enter the park via the Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper south and central regions, known for their diverse wildlife populations. Your experienced guide will navigate the park, sharing their knowledge of animal behavior and increasing your chances of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) as well as other fascinating creatures and birdlife.
- Lunch: Enjoy a lunch break at one of the popular rest camps within Kruger National Park (at your own cost). These camps offer facilities for meals, restrooms, and souvenir shopping.
- Late Afternoon: After a full day of wildlife viewing, you will return to Tremisana Lodge late in the afternoon.

Day 10: Farewell Kruger & Departure.

- Transfer: Depending on your onward travel plans, a transfer back to Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) included. Alternatively, if you wish to extend your stay in Johannesburg, a transfer to your hotel of choice in Johannesburg can also be arranged
